Eight month old Xi Xi is one of our family support project little ones. She is a very unique case. Xi Xi was born prematurely and with a heart defect and quickly racked up a large hospital bill. Her parents were facing a number of serious difficulties and disappeared, leaving her in limbo at the hospital. Her parents cannot be found, but she cannot be classified as an “orphan” because of her situation. The hospital has been caring for her for over 8 months, with kindhearted doctors and nurses contributing toward the cost of her basic needs.
In September 2016, Little Flower’s Dew Drops Family Support project has agreed to help provide diapers and formula.
In November 2016, Xi Xi’s legal situation was finally resolved and she was adopted by a local family. We are so happy that she now has a mom and dad of her own!
