Fourteen year old Xi Bo and his parents came to our Family Support Unit in October 2016. Xi Bo was born with a gastrointestinal birth defect that continues to cause problems with his digestion, leaving him severely malnourished. We arranged consults with Beijing’s top specialists about his treatment options. He has been admitted to the hospital for further treatment.
In November 2016, he had further checks and is still waiting for the best treatment options for him.
In June 2017, Dew Drops helped arrange a surgery for Bo. In July, he had a second surgery to help fix his gastrointestinal related issue. He is recovering well and has returned back to his home town.
