Four year old Xu first came to our Family Support project in August 2017. He was accompanied by his mother. Xu was born prematurely and has global developmental delays. We arranged for an evaluation to figure out what kind of assistance we can provide to him and his family. Xu’s mother heard about our work preserving families through a previous family who had received care through us.
In October 2017, Xu and his mother came back to our home in Beijing for further checks and therapy sessions. We continue to support this family as they take care of their special child.
